If you are the one among the Android phone users, you must have been lured by the Apps present on play store or the other third-party websites. Because these Applications are free doesn't really mean you don't have to pay for it. Now days the most important thing to sustain in the digital world are the Data and Information. Yes, you got it right, these apps are harvesting your personal data in return for some services.

The funny thing is that we are the one who actually give them the accessibility to use our data. We don't think twice before we allow the permissions, these apps ask for. These data include phone's gallery, location history & live location access, wi-fi and Bluetooth information, Mobile data details, cloud access, phone and messaging details, browsing history and many more.

Some third-party apps even use these data without our own accord.

The question here is what they do with these data?
There are millions of marketing companies and websites who buy these data to affect your mind based on your choices, interests, priorities, likes and dislikes, profession and passion. Ever wondered how the same item comes in the advertisements of some ad-supporting apps or websites which you searched about, the last night? How google shows you personalized ads, news and promos? The items you searched on amazon, Flipkart or Wish are now coming in ads with some discounts. Not only for marketing purpose, your data may be used by crackers and attackers to harm you or for their own benefits. They can track you, hack you and might knock you down. From your personal chats to your bathroom pics, everything is getting priced.
In a nutshell, one is completely stripped in this digital era if he/she is not aware of these things.

Researchers at Oxford university analysed about one-third of the apps available on Play Store in 2017 and found that most of the apps could transfer data to upto 10 third parties. 20% apps can share data with more than 20 other parties.
